Afuera Vida Casita
The Afuera Vida Casita is an original off grid 1950's Jack Rabbit Cabin located in the heart of the Mojave Desert. Described by many as an oasis, our cabin integrates the tenants of a simple form of living with an immersive outdoor experience. The pathways, the plants, the birds, the shower, and unique outdoor zones all come together to create a wild escape, just 15 minutes from Joshua Tree town, 30 minutes from the National Park entrance, 2 hours from Los Angeles (without traffic) or three hours from Las Vegas.
Our home is yours to unplug and experience the beauty and solitude of the desert wilderness. Come by yourself, with your lover or with a group to enjoy the enchantment.
private rentals
We recently made the decision to remove the Afuera Vida Casita from Airbnb and offer it privately to our network of friends, family and colleagues at a rate much more affordable than through Airbnb.
Private rentals are offered for a flat rate of $125/night with a two night minimum and a $50 cleaning fee.

STEP 3 - We will confirm your booking and ask you to complete the rental contract via email.
